ABOUT US

IMPROVING OUR COMMUNITIES – ONE HOUR AT A TIME

Inspired by the pioneering work of 100 Women Who Care South Georgian Triangle,  as well as many other great ‘100’ groups, a team of community-minded Collingwood'ers decided to form 100 Men Who Care Southern Georgian Bay commencing in 2017.  100 Men Who Care Southern Georgian Bay (SGB) is now supported by a volunteer Leadership Team of seven members from the Southern Georgian Bay area. We consider this area to be from Wasaga to Collingwood, Thornbury, Meaford down to Markdale over to Creemore and Stayner and all points in between.

Here’s how it works:

We bring together a group of 100 or more guys who want to make a difference across the Southern Georgian Bay area, all by supporting local community causes and non-profit organizations with donations that go directly to those causes.

We meet a maximum of four times per year and select on a local cause or charity to support. Each of our 100+ Men donates $100 to the selected organization, for a total targeted group donation of $10,000+ per meeting.
Pretty simple, right?

This provides us an opportunity to make a real impact on our local communities, while our meeting schedule gives us the chance to share new ideas about other great charities and causes that could use our help.

Along the way, we even make time to share a beverage and a few laughs.

Interested? Drop us a line and join 100 Men Who Care Southern Georgian Bay.
